Dazzle This Diva – November 17th
This weeks question comes from Pauline of Century 21 Conexus Realty Ltd
How do you explain to potential clients and customers that you are different/better than others in your field?
Too many times I have seen this happen where a customer chooses a ‘not so great’ person in my field and assumes that we are all alike. We’re not all alike and it irks me to be put in the same category as others sometimes.
What can I do to get this message across to potential clients without sounding like I’m full of hot air?
Thx.

One of the first things to do is to really listen to your customers. Every time I am speaking with one of my customers I pull out this customer profile form I have write down all their info AND speacila notes. Like kids and their names and any important detail they have coming up. When you have serviced them and close the deal, try to remember the relationship does NOT end there! You want referals right? Always do a follow up call to see how they are doing and put those listening skills to good use. No one cares how much you know, they want to know how much you care!!
Good luck!
